Nothing is more precious than baby skin and a baby head that smells like baby soap. 

The drool is really her #1 accessory at the moment. That and Sophie, the $25 giraffe. But the accessory that she’ll keep long after all her teeth come in (and fall out, and come back); long after Sophie is lost somewhere — is her button.

I really hope that she grows up and loves her button and that she isn’t embarrassed to wear certain dresses because of it. I think it’s the most precious little birth mark. Sometimes I wish it was a real “turn this baby off” button. Not often, but sometimes.
