Happy Valentines Day!
Everyone has their own take on how lame or amazing this holiday is and I think I can safely say I fall right in the middle. I honestly 99% forget it’s coming until it’s here — but when it finally is I do like to get a little dolled up, cook a nice dinner, and even dessert with candles. We actually sit at the dining room table (normal dinner is on the couch with Jeopardy. Horrible, I know. But we don’t have an eat-in kitchen).
But now all I can think about is how last year, on this very day, I was sitting in a conference room with some new hires at my old job and I felt the very first swoooosh in my belly.
